Joint Camp is back!

Joint camp is a pre-operation education class for patients scheduled for total hip and knee replacements. When you and your physician decide it’s time for surgery, your physician’s office will schedule you for Joint Camp class at RMC Tyler Center. We recommend getting scheduled as soon as possible to ensure you have plenty of time to prepare. Classes are available every other Monday at 3-5pm, and every other Wednesday from 10-12pm.

At the time of scheduling, you will receive a book of resources, including a hip or knee replacement guidebook, appointment page, Joint Camp contact, and community resources for easy access to all the support you need.

At Joint Camp, you’ll go over how to prepare your home, equip your support coach, what to expect day of surgery, and how to pre-hab your body! Led by our RMC Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, you’ll have the chance to talk through questions and answers about every step of your joint replacement journey. At RMC you will never walk alone.
