Guest Services for Patients & Visitors
In March 2024, we were excited to announce a transition of services at Stringfellow Campus. We are in the process of updating services and information. In the meantime, if you are in need of care, please contact your health care provider or visit our Emergency Room located at the RMC Campus. If you have questions, please contact us here.
Services in Transition
To date, services in the process of transition from Stringfellow to main campus include:
-Detox Unit has fully transitioned to RMC Campus
-Intensive Care Unit has fully transitioned to RMC Campus.
-Ambulatory Care to transition iron infusions and phlebotomy from RMC to Stringfellow, and all other Ambulatory Care to transition from Stringfellow to RMC
-Outpatient Imaging, Laboratory and NCP services transitioned to RMC
-Inpatient Services at Stringfellow to pause new admissions
-Emergency Services transitioned to RMC
Emergency Services Update
As previously shared, the transition will involve transitioning the Emergency Department at Stringfellow to an urgent care facility while simultaneously enhancing the Emergency Department at RMC. Members of the public needing emergency services after July 19 should seek care at RMC.

Services Remaining at Stringfellow: Looking ahead, outpatient surgical services and Gastroenterology Services will remain at the Stringfellow campus. All inpatient services will be paused as of July 19th. Additionally, Southern Immediate Care will be providing urgent care services in the former Emergency Room space.
Medical Records Notice: Former patients of the Stringfellow Campus can obtain copies of their hospital medical and/or imaging records (inclusive of radiology exams and digital files) from The Health Care Authority of the City of Anniston at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center by the following:
-Requesting records in person at RMC Anniston, located at 400 East Tenth Street, Anniston, Alabama 36207, by going to the first floor of the main hospital building.
-Contacting the Release of Information Office at 256-235-5763.
-Requesting electronic records through HealthMark-Group.com, Stringfellow’s Release of Information Provider.
If a patient has signed up for FollowMyHealth Portal, it will still be available.
