Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Memorial Foundation

Founded in the late 1970’s by a concerned group of citizens, including Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital’s own Warren Sarrell, M.D., the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Medical Center Memorial Foundation was created to support Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital in pursuit of its vision of providing superior quality health care services for the community and residents of northeast Alabama. Today, the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Foundation remains an active and essential support organization for the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Health System in fulfilling the need for additional medical services and facilities.

As one of the region’s largest not-for-profit health systems, the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Health System reinvests hospital earnings back into our local communities through improved access to expanded health care services, state-of-the-art technologies and recruitment of top talent as the area’s largest employer. Through the generosity of our donors and the support of area businesses, the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Foundation is making a significant impact.

Because cash gifts are tax deductible, we will give you a letter of acknowledgement of your gift that you can use for your tax records, and 100% of your gift goes directly to the Baptist Health Calhoun Hospital Foundation project that you designate.

Patient revenues are not adequate to cover all of the expenses of maintaining a high-quality healthcare system.
