Patient Conditions/Services

In conjunction with Noland Health Services, RMC provides a 38 bed inpatient long-term acute care unit located on the fourth floor of the main RMC campus in Anniston. The purpose of long-term care is to meet the complex health care needs of patients who require lengthy treatments and hospital stays.

The regionally based referral unit is staffed with medical professionals who constantly evaluate, manage and monitor using a multidisciplinary treatment approach and extensive discharge planning. Each patient has an evaluation team that includes a doctor, pharmacist, registered nurse and respiratory therapist who are involved in patient assessment and referral.

Noland Hospitals are licensed as Long Term Acute Care Hospitals and provide comprehensive medical management for medically complex patients needing an extended stay in an acute care hospital. Our hospitals are designed to continue the care provided by the general acute care hospital and bridge the gap of services for those who need a continued high level of care for a longer length of time.

Medical Management

Noland Hospital at RMC Anniston offers comprehensive medical management for medically complex patients. Patients requiring interdisciplinary, acute medical services over an extended period of time are appropriate for our hospitals.
