Meet Dr. Mohamad Eloubeidi

Dr. Eloubeidi, Director of EUS and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy is highly regarded in digestive health care. He’s an expert in GI tract disorders, pancreas, and liver diseases, having built his career for over 20 years. He attended medical school at the American University of Beirut before proceeding to the Duke University Medical Center for his residency in gastroenterology and the Medical University of South Carolina for his fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound and Related Technologies.

Dr. Eloubeidi is also passionate about empowering future generations of medical professionals, having served as a professor at the University of Alabama. What’s more, he’s a member of various national and international associations, including the  American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Eloubeidi is highly rated among patients and we’re sure you’ll love him too!

Meet Dr. James Hixon

Patients are in safe hands with Dr. James S. Hixon, MD. He is certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating liver and digestive disorders.

Dr. Hixon is also a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the Alabama Endoscopy Society, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and various other professional societies. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Doctor of Medicine, where he also underwent his Gastroenterology Fellowship Training and Internal Medicine residency.

Besides his career accomplishments, Dr. Hixon stands out for his empathy and connection to new patients. Like every doctor at RMC, Dr. Hixon is constantly nurturing relationships with patients and other health care professionals for effective care.

Dr. Hixon’s office is located at 901 Leighton Avenue, Suite 101, Anniston, AL 36207. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fridays. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment to diagnose digestive disorders, and provides a welcoming atmosphere and staff.

Licensed in both Alabama and California, Dr. Kashyap is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine and was recently honored as a “Top Doctor in Anniston.” Known for his thoughtful, thorough approach and compassionate bedside manner, Dr. Kashyap is committed to delivering care that’s both advanced and patient-centered.

Dr. Kashyap is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Calhoun County Medical Society, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is currently accepting new patients at Anniston Gastroenterology Associates.
