For the past decade, the RMC Foundation proudly hosted the Annual Garden Jubilee in honor of the Martha Vandervoort Scholarship, bringing our community together in celebration of generosity, service, and hope for future generations. Through this beloved event, we honored the life and legacy of Martha Vandervoort, a devoted Anniston philanthropist, while raising meaningful support for students across Calhoun County.
Now, we are proud to share a significant milestone: the Martha Vandervoort Memorial Scholarship is fully endowed. Because of the unwavering support of our community over the last ten years, this scholarship will continue in perpetuity, awarding $3,000 annually to a graduating senior who exemplifies leadership and a true servant’s heart.
Over the years, ten outstanding students have been named Martha Vandervoort Scholars, each carrying forward a legacy of compassion and service. While the Garden Jubilee chapter has come to a close, its impact will continue to grow through the lives of the students it supports for generations to come.
