RMC’s Wound Healing Center has a success rate of 96 percent of wounds healed in 12 to 16 weeks.

This specialized area, located in the Tyler Center, offers high-quality care to patients suffering from wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment. In addition to other progressive treatments, the Tyler Center offers state of the art Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chambers, which are useful for slow to non-healing wounds.

Your Needs

Before any treatment begins, our team of doctors and nurses will thoroughly evaluate your wound, as well as review your health and medical history. Tests may be conducted to determine your blood flow and to see whether or not any infection is present.

Together with your doctor, RMC will develop a treatment program based on your individual needs. We will monitor your progress on a detailed basis, make adjustments accordingly and report all findings to your doctor. Once your wound has healed, you will return to your doctor for any necessary follow-up care.
