Within the Emergency Department at RMC there are a total of 36 emergency room beds that include:

27 beds for traditional emergency treatment
Eight – Quick Care beds to quickly treat patients with minor medical conditions
Specially-designed rooms to evaluate and treat patients with behavioral health needs
Trauma bed for trauma patients or patients who have traumatic injuries or illness
A trauma/resuscitation bay for trauma patients or patients who need to be resuscitated
