Melissa Baird, MD

Biography

Specializing in Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Baird has practiced in Alabama for more that 14 years. Dr. Baird received her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. She completed her Hematology and Oncology Fellowship with The University of Michigan Medical Center. She was an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, before relocating her practice to Anniston. Dr. Baird is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Alpha Omega Alpha. She has served as principal investigator for several clinical trials.
