RMC recently introduced a new program in April affectionately known as the RMC Ambassador Program. As you enter the main entrance of the hospital, you might ask yourself: “Who is that friendly gentleman standing at the front door greeting and assisting our visitors and patients?
Meet Russell Williams, Wayne Tillman and Kiser Whatley.
Russell Williams was the first member hired as part of RMC’s new Ambassador program. Wayne Tillman was the second RMC Ambassador who joined the program and Kiser Whatley is the latest addition to the team. These gentlemen and future members of the team will be stationed at the front entrance of the hospital to assist and personally greet all patients and visitors who arrive at RMC in Anniston. Initially this service will be provided from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
RMC Ambassadors will provide a new twist to enhancing the patient and visitor experience at RMC. They will help greet, direct and transport patients and visitors, ease traffic issues, support security personnel and maintain the cleanliness of our main entrance. This important role requires a true servant’s heart and each RMC Ambassador must display this at all times.
Our belief is that this program will help supplement the exceptional support and service already provided by the RMC Auxiliary. The generosity they display in giving of their time to assist both our staff, patients and visitors are invaluable to the operations of our hospital.
The RMC Ambassador program will continually be fine tuned over the next few months and feedback and input from patient, visitors and patient families are welcomed so that we can continue to improve this program. Our goal is to set RMC apart from the norm and make folks walk in and out of our facility saying, “WOW”.
Thank you for all you and your staff are already doing every day to make this happen. The efforts of everyone are making a difference.
