Giving Tuesday is November 29th, and it’s a great day to give back to your community. But the truth is, many of us don’t know where to start when it comes to helping out at our local hospitals. There are plenty of ways you can help out. Whether you have time or money to donate, please consider giving back in some way—it’s a great way for everyone involved!

A donation to the RMC Foundation is a tax-deductible donation. Donations help the hospital provide care, education, and resources for patients. RMC Foundation uses donations from community members like you to purchase a variety of things like medical equipment, new furniture for waiting rooms, meals, and so much more.
Whether you choose to make a donation in honor of someone special or give back to the hospital that helped you when you were at your most vulnerable, remember that every contribution is meaningful and appreciated.

The most direct way to contribute to our hospital, and the way to choose how your dollar amount is used is through our easy-to-use online form. There you can choose anything from our cancer care center, the woman and children’s pavilion, or simply select the “greatest need” option if you are unsure of the cause that needs funds most.

If you are shopping this holiday season, chances are you will be ordering at least a couple things from Amazon. You can give back while knocking out your gift list, and it costs you nothing. No rounding up and no donation is asked for at the ask. Amazon simply gives back a portion of eligible sales to the charity of your choosing. The foundation is always hosting events and partnering with the community. By following us on Instagram and Facebook you’re staying up to date with the most current needs of the hospital as well as being a part of fun events for a great cause! We also post all of our Early Detection Connection events that provide wellness screeings to several different demographics in Calhoun County.
