On Saturday, May 4th, the RMC Foundation will host “A Walk with the Stars” Garden Jubilee. It will be held at The Kress Event Center with an Old Hollywood Glam theme. We invite everyone to join us and dress as their favorite star or fashion from the 1920’s – 1960’s era. Each year we honor the life of a special person, raise money for the RMC Healthcare System and bring our community together for an evening of camaraderie and hope for future generations.
This will be our 9th year to introduce our Martha Vandervoort Memorial scholar to the community. They will be the “Star” of the evening celebration. Each year we honor the life and legacy of a long time Anniston resident and philanthropist, Martha Vandervoort, with an annual scholarship. The Martha Vandervoort Memorial Scholarship awards an annual $3000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Calhoun County. This student has a true servant’s heart and serves as a leader in their community. To date, we have been able to award nine worthy Scholars and look forward to continuing to support future leaders in our community.
Kevin is a fine example of someone deserving of the Martha Vandervoort Memorial Scholarship.
